Qualifications

A Bachelor of Science is required; an MS/PhD in agriculture or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated organizational leadership and management experience is required.

Highlight leadership, organizational recovery, budgets, fundraising, staff management, and relevant agriculture experience.
Your cover letter must incorporate a TWO-YEAR NBGC REBUILDING PLAN with specific numerical or otherwise objectively verifiable targets at months 6, 12, and 24 in each of three priority areas: (1) Membership recovery, (2) Fundraising recovery, and (3) Organizational sustainability. Include a first-90-days diagnostic, assumptions, resources, responsible parties, and risks. For each priority, explain the baseline you would verify in the first 90 days, the rationale for each target, the actions required, and how progress will be measured.
