WASHINGTON, DC (Sep. 01, 2016) – The National Black Growers Council made history recently with making the cover of the September 2016 issue of Progressive Farmer. The story entitled, “Bridging the Gap”, focused on the Council’s work to improve the disemination of information and access to programs for black row crop growers. Additionally, it covered the benefits of networking within the organization and its achievements to increase diversity in production agriculture, while fostering the growth of the next generation of ag professionals. We view this as shared accomplishment that would not be possible without the work of our regular and sustaining members.
